American Girl Kirsten
If you love pioneer stories than you will absolutely fall in love with the American Girl doll Kirsten. Kirsten Larson's story begins in 1854, as she grows up in a small town in Minnesota. She is a strong willed girl who's pioneer spirit keeps motivating her. After a long and perilous journey from Sweden and all across the shores of the Atlantic to come to America, she must find a new place to call home again. Everything in America is new to her and she has to find a new way to get along in this strange new land. But as Kirsten begins to make new friends and discover new things about America she soon begins to appreciate all it has to offer and learns what "home" really is. Lessons of love and friendship are taught all throughout her story. The Kirsten doll was one of the three that were initially released by the American Girl collection on 1986. Kirsten Larson, 1854
Kristen,
also known as Kristen Larson; the American Girl doll grew up and
lived in Minnesota Territory as a Swedish immigrant.
Being an
immigrant is hard, but being an immigrant back then was even more
difficult, especially being an immigrant and yet at the same time so
young. However, on the flip side- there were very few people living
back then that weren't actually suffering, even those who were rather
wealthy suffered quite frequently.
Ultimately, Kirsten was
presented with a lot of new problems at a very young age, along with
challenges like being new to the country and trying to now adjust to
a new life style that is much different than that type of which she
originated from. This is of course, not to mention that she now also
had the responsibility of learning a different language, since her
language of descent was not considered primary where she now lived,
nor that useful when you think about it.
Even know Kirsten was
one of the first produced American Girl dolls, she still had the
quality of an independent master piece, and in a sense was her very
own "number 1". This American Girl doll was made only of
the finest quality materials, given obvious high precision during
creation, and of course looks extremely unique as mentioned
previously.
As far as Kirsten's great accessories go, hers are
definitely unique to say the least. As for her books, Kirsten's books
are unique because hers are one of the few that still have maintained
it's original content with little to very little altercations of any
sort.(Besides new covers implemented later on as production of
Kirsten increased.)

beautiful and is created with fair skin, and long Blonde banged hair.
This American Girl doll was sure to get attention then, and
definitely would get an amplified amount now especially. Although all
American Girl dolls are each made special, Kirsten is one that will
honestly forever stick out.
As far as purchasing goes like
Josefina, you will have the same problem with Kirsten Larson, she all
of her items are no longer available through American Girl either.
This is of course probably due to the rather overwhelming demand, and
rather obvious age of the doll and it's accessories. Rest assured
though, they are still more than obtainable if you seek the right
places on a 3rd party market for one, or the accessories !
