American Girls of Today
The American Girl company was very proud to introduce to AG fans everywhere a new line of dolls called American Girls of today. These were introduced in 1995 and were 18 in dolls that came with more modern clothes and accessories to go along with them. The company is more notorious for depicting girls in American history and teaching children and adults a like what it was like to live in those different time periods. The line was started with 20 girls of Today and more are being added all the time. These initial dolls came in many different skin tones and hair and eye colors to make them unique and so each "real" American girl could associate with a doll of her choice.
